Awesome!!! This cute little place opened up about a month ago. It is located right in the heart of downtown St Pete on Central Avenue. My family and I were lucky enough to eat lunch there the other day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The scene there was fun with lively artwork painted on the wall that was reminiscent of days gone by. The food was delicious and diner fare with a modern twist.
Among ourselves, we ordered the brioche french toast with caramelized bananas, the salmon hash, and the 437 burger. The brioche french toast with the caramelized bananas was pure bliss and my craving for that french toast alone will send me back again. The salmon has was excellent and the burger tasted like a real diner burger and was deliciously juicy.
I am pleased that this restaurant was added to the choices of dining in downtown St Pete and I think it is a great addition. The service there was very attentive and friendly. I definitely want to go back again and try some of the other menu choices. The shredded beef short rib sandwich sounds delicious. And for dinner, I would like to try the duck fat french fries and the chopped Kobe beef steak with mashed potatoes. And for dessert, the Guiness Stout ice cream float has definitely aroused my curiosity. They serve beer and wine here, so it would be a lovely place to dine in the evening.

Update: I tried lunch here again this last Saturday, and I had a real great experience. My family and I opted to eat at the counter, so that we could watch the chef cook and that was real fun. Chef Domenica Macchia took the time to talk to some of us sitting at the counter and gave us an impromptu cooking lesson with a few tips for cooking at home. She was very down to earth and wanting to make her customers happy through her food. I had the shredded beef short rib sandwich, which was fantastic. If given a chance, eat at the counter because it is worth it.
