Midtown Sundries - downtown St Petersburg, FL

Last Thursday, I headed over to Midtown Sundries with the family. Stepping inside, the first thing one notices is the huge horseshoe shaped bar. We opted to grab one of the many bar tables that surround the bar. Besides the bar area, there are plenty of tables by the windows on both sides of the restaurant. TV's, sports memorabilia, and posters abound, and along with the soothing lighting, they set the mood to grab a cold one and watch the game or gab with friends or coworkers. If pool is your game, they have a few tables here.

On the night we were there, Thursday, it was two beers for the price of one on select beers. We ordered the Bell's Oberon, which is a wheat beer and was a very nice and easy beer to drink. We were in a wings sort of a mood, so we were happy to see that they had a few choices of different types of wings on their menu. We ordered 10 of the buffalo wings a 10 of the Jack Daniel's Bourbon Street Wings. They also offer wings in 20 and 50 count portions. My son ordered a Provolone Cheeseburger. After a reasonable wait, our food arrived. My son's burger was very good and the wings were very good, but I enjoyed the spicy buffalo wings the most. This is definitely a place I will come back to for the food and the atmosphere.
